Temperature dependence of the nuclear response

Description
The temperature dependence of the nuclear response function is studied with the random phase approximation. It is found that the strength distributions are rather stable for temperatures up to about 2 MeV. Thermal excitations do affect, however, the low-energy regions of the nuclear spectrum
