From 'de minimis' to exemption and decontrol. When to withhold governmental supervision

Description

Some of the definitions with respect to the so-called 'de minimis' concept for radiation protection are outlined. Also attention is paid to research on conditional exemption on the basis of which levels for unconditional decontrol can be deducted. Radioactivity concentration levels for several radionuclides are presented. 11 refs
