Krypton-85 in the environmental objects

The data on the airborne 85Kr capture by different objects of the environment (water, soils, and plants) are presented. The theoretical analysis is based on the capture coefficients obtained using the data of the model experiments where 85Kr concentrations were activity of 85Kr in the objects of the environment in Lithuania is equal to 0.26 Bq m-2. The relative concentration values of 85Kr in soils, water reservoirs, trees and meadows are 0.84, 0.14, 0.014, and 0.006 Bq m-2
