Description
A numerical approach to statistical properties of chaotic optical systems is proposed and applied to the second harmonic generation driven by an external modulated pump. The results reveal that the chaotic laser light possesses a kind of super-Poisson statistical distribution between Poisson distribution and Bose-Einstein distribution
