Creators

Description

This special issue of the 'Chronique du polygone' journal is a homage to the pioneers who, around the Professor Neel, have created the C.E.N.G. From 1955 to 1996, year by year, the different aspects at the nuclear center of Grenoble are reviewed. The beginning of the reactors called Melusine and Siloe are exposed. The birth of the L.E.T.I. in 1967 (Laboratory of Electronics, Technology and Instrumentation) is noticed and its discoveries are given. This special chronicle ends on some hopes for the future.
