No solution with cold fusion
Description
The current progress in fusion energy research is briefly reviewed. Besides conventional thermonuclear fusion, muon catalyzed fusion and recent astounding news about electrochemically induced cold fusion in condensed matter are also considered. Even under the best possible conditions, the cold fusion rates remain at negligible levels and do not give any hopes for applications in energy production
