Description

Distribution character of copper atoms donor electrons in vanadium-oxygen sublattice of oxide vanadium bronzes (OVB) β'-Cusub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5) is defined as a function of interstitial atom concentration using the EPR spectra method. It is established that in oxide vanadium bronze Cusub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5) of β' type copper is found partially in a bivalent state. It is shown that in this bronze at 300 K concentration of paramagnetic Vsup(4+) centers is less than copper atoms concentration, that is probably conditioned by the pairing of a part of vanadium (4) ions. Maximums are discovered on graphs of a number of paramagnetic centers on β'-Cusub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5) bronze composition at x=0.33 and x=0.44. An assumption is drawn that anomalies on property-composition dependences for Msub(x)Vsub(2)Osub(5) OVB of β and β' types are induced by Vsup(4+) center ordering
