Description
Magnetic field and stress analysis results are described. For a toroidal field coil in the Large Coil Task at ORNL, Nb-Ti alloy superconducting conductor has number of problems in magnetic field and current density for further study. The maximum Von Mieses stress, however, is lower than the yield stress. (auth.)
