Dynamic recovery in molybdenum during active deformation
Description
Dynamic recovery in molybdenum during uniaxial tension in 20-1200 deg C range at four deformation rates was investigated from the viewpoint of the theory of multistage strain hardening of polycrystal BCC-metals. Method of s-n diagram processing in S-e1/2 coordinates (where S and e - real stress and strain) based on the phenomenon of successive stepwise rearrangement of dislocation structure during deformation, enebles to determine parameters of dynamic recovery stage - critical strain of its beginning e3 and coefficient of strain hardening K4. Model of dynamic recovery, where annihilation of screw dislocations of the opposite sign within the boundaries of dislocation cells is the decisive one, is suggested; the model enables to obtain analytical expressions of e3 and K4 parameters and explain the experimental data
