Often criticized for their uncontrollable nature, renewable electricity generation resources such as solar photovoltaic and wind power could well have come up against the glass ceiling of limited grid flexibility... But this was without taking into account the rise of a new solution, which emerged around ten years ago: battery storage. Already well-developed in China and the United States, this approach now looks set to make its mark on the European market
