Extraction of boric acid in the system H3BO3-H2SO4-MgSO4-H2O-2-ethylhexanol/kerosene (66.6 vol %)

Description
The distribution of boric and sulfuric acids in system H3BO3-H2SO4-MgSO4-H2O-2-ethylhexanol/kerosene (66.6 vol. %) is investigated. It is shown, that salting-out effect of magnesium sulfate is considerably weaker than that of sulfuric acid. The optimum concentration range of boric acid extraction is determined
