Actual educational and research activities of the department

In this presentation the author (head of the Department) give a short review of forty years history of the Department of Nuclear Chemistry, Comenius University in Bratislava. Department was founded in 1966. In present time, education in specialisation nuclear chemistry is in bachelor level, in master of nuclear chemistry and radiochemistry, as well as post-graduate study in nuclear chemistry with academic degree PhD. are realised. Supporting subjects as well as scientific activities of the Department are are presented. The constituent of the Department is accredited Testing Laboratory of Radiochemical Analysis. The extent of the accreditation as well as accredited instruments are showed. Cooperation with different organisations, realised projects and grants are discussed. Some in-service courses were realised, some published books are presented
