Mathematical simulation of protection coatings gas-phase deposition on rod bundles

Description
Mathematical description of transport processes during deposition of carbide coatings on rod bundles, heated by ring thermal radiator is considered. On the basis of numerical solution of homogenized hydrodynamics equations of multicomponent gas mixture the effect of the main technological parameters on the process characteristcs is analyzed. Possibility of attaining sufficient uniformity of coating thickness on rod bundles when simulating deposition process under transient conditions of heterogeneous reaction is shown
