Description
Teletherapy machines using 60Co or 137Cs require changes of the radiation source at appropriate times. A transport-cum-transfer flask is used for this purpose. An accident involving the fall of the source drawer during such a transfer and the ways and means employed for the safe recovery of the source are described in this paper. (author)
