Developing nano-patterns on InP(111) surfaces after keV irradiation

  • 1. Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar (India)

Description

We have investigated the formation of nano patterns on the InP(111) surfaces after irradiation. Ion irradiation was carried out using Ar ion beams of keV energies. The nano-patterns show structures which are smaller than 45nm and lower than 20nm. Scanning Probe Microscope has been utilized for investigating the morphology of the virgin and the irradiated surfaces. (author)
