Electron impact excitation of highly ionized hydrogenic ions
Description
The Coulomb-Born transition amplitudes of the 1s->ns, np excitations of highly ionized hydrogenic ions are reduced to a closed form which guarantee a flexibility of computation at any energy. Both integrated and differential cross sections are given for n = 2, 3 with Z = 2,6,8,10,14,22,28 and 50 at electron impact energies x = 1 ∼ 40 in threshold units
