Three-dimensional effects of detached plasma formation on non-diffusive transport

Description

In the noncontact divertor environment of various types of magnetic configuration devices, increasing phenomena of non-diffusive transport across the magnetic field have been observed. In the noncontact plasmas where there is a steep plasma parameter gradient in the direction of the magnetic force lines, the atomic and molecular processes due to the interaction with neutral particles are also strongly involved, and a three-dimensionally extremely complicated singular field is formed. This paper mainly focuses on the non-diffusive transport observed in the linear divertor simulator NAGDIS-II. It introduces the three-dimensional effect of this singular field on transport, as well as the three-dimensional shape of the plasma structure and its dynamic behavior, by separating the phenomena into the directions perpendicular and parallel to the magnetic field. Abstract (Japanese)
