Calculation of geometrical corrections in an experiment with spherical detector
Description
Geometrical corrections for the measurement of complicated angular distributions in experiments with spherical detector are calculated. It is shown that for a planar source of arbitrary form and spherical detector the calculation of geometry corrections corresponding to Legendre polinomial contribution of arbitrary order in the angular distribution is reduced to integration over single variable which is impossible for planar detectors. One of possible applications is the calculation of geometrical corrections for the experiments on fission of oriented nuclei. 4 refs.; 2 figs
