Neutral Higgs searches at LEP-2: Present status

  • 1. Laboratoire de l'Accelerateur Lineaire, Batiment 200, Centre d'Orsay, 91405 Orsay Cedex (France)

Description

The present status of neutral Higgs boson searches at LEP-2 is reviewed. Final results using 1996 data at 161 and 172 GeV are reported, along with preliminary ones from the 1997 run at 183 GeV. An overview of the main tools required to isolate the signal (beauty tagging and mass reconstruction) is presented. Prospects for the upcoming 1998 run at 189 GeV, and from higher energies expected to be reached in the following years are also given
