Study on the mechanism of four-particle 11B+d→ n+3α nuclear reaction

Description
At incident deuteron energy of 3.75 MeV the four-particle 11B+d → n+3α nuclear reaction was studied. An analysis of two-dimensional energy distributions and angular correlations of α particles has revealed that the main mechanism of the reaction studied is that of successive decay. Among the successive channels, predominant is that with excitation at intermediate reaction stages of 9Be[2.43, 4.7, and 6.76 MeV) and 5He nucli
