Membrane models and generalized Z2 gauge theories
Description
We consider models of (d-n)-dimensional membranes fluctuating in a d-dimensional space under the action of surface tension. We investigate the renormalization properties of these models perturbatively and in 1/n expansion. The potential relationships of these models to generalized Z2 gauge theories are indicated. (orig.)
