Description
By means of the Moessbauer spectroscopy one investigated into the local structure of RNi0.98Fe0.02O3 nickelates (R=REE) in 57Fe nuclei. For R = La, Pr, Nd within the region characterized by (T > TIM) conductivity Fe3+ cations are shown to occupy similar crystallographic positions. In case of R = Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy nickelates, 57Fe spectra measured under T<TIM consist of two components corresponding to three-valent cations of iron in various anion environment. The obtained results are in line with the neutron diffraction investigations assuming occurrence of partial charge ordering in nickel sublattice under T<TIM
Abstract (Russian)
Методом мeссбауэровской спектроскопии на ядрах 57Fe исследована локальная структура никелатов RNi0.98Fe0.02O3 (R = РЗЭ). Показано, что для R = La, Pr, Nd в области с металлическим типом проводимости (T > Tим) катионы Fe3+ занимают однотипные кристаллографические позиции. В случае же никелатов R = Sm, Eu, Gd, Dy спектры 57Fe, измеренные при Т < Tим, состоят из двух компонент, отвечающих трехвалентным катионам железа в различном анионном окружении. Полученные результаты согласуются с нейтронографическими исследованиями, предполагающими протекание при Т < Tим частичного зарядового упорядочения в подрешетке никеляAdditional details
