Distribution functions for heavy vector bosons inside colliding particle beams
Description
We present a derivation of the distribution functions fsup(L)sub(V/q)(x) and fsup(T)sub(V/q)(x) for a longitudinally polarized (L) and transverse polarized (T) massive vector boson V to carry a fraction x of the quark momentum in the limit of parallel momenta. The results can be applied to various Wsup(+-) and Z0 weak boson initiated processes in future particle colliders with energies in the TeV region. (orig.)
