Development of nuclear power in Sweden
Description
The history and development of nuclear energetics in Sweden has been described. Up to now 12 units (9 BWR and 3 PWR nuclear reactors) with total 70 TWh electric power is being working in Sweden. If the same power will be installed as a coal-fired units the emissions of 65 million tons of CO2, 240,000 tons of SO2 and 140 tons of NOx would be expected. 1 tab
