Description
239Pu is an extremely toxic group radionuclide. The study on tile migratory pattern of Pu has al- ways been a hot topic in the research of radionuclide migratory. In this article, Infoworks CS software is used to conduct numerical simulation on the pattern of Pu migration and sedimentation in the underground drain lines in a certain building. The amount of migration and sedimentation of low-concentration waste water with Pu element in different pipe sections and the gross amount of Pu discharged from the main discharge outlet are calculated and the internal radiation dose, through the drainage channels into the receiving water body, to the public is also estimated.
