Formation of a ring liquid et

Description

Results are discussed of theoretical analysis of development of ring thin-walled jets which could be used in divertors of quasistationary thermonuclear reactors or as liners of pulsed thermonuclear reactors. The balance of forces acting on a jet ring element is found. An ordinary differential equation for the radius of jet centre line is determined. Analytical solutions for the maximum parameter values are obtained. The possibility is shown to regulate the configuration of a twisted ring liquid jet by changing the twist, jet flow velocity, pressure drop and wall thickness
