Synthesis of [Mo3(μ3-S)(μ2-S2)3[(C2H5)2NCS2]3]+ [C2B9H12]- compound containing two types of cluster components

Description

The [Mo3(μ3-S))μ2-S2)3[(C2H5)2NCS2]3]+ x [C2B9H12]- compound, the composition whereof contains two complex fragments: thiocomplex of the molybdenum triangular cluster with diethyldithiocarbamate ligands and cluster derivative of the o-carborane(12) C2B9H12, is synthesized through exchange reaction in the CH2Cl2. The [C12H25NC5][C2B9H12] salt, soluble in CH2Cl2, was used a source substance. The compound obtained is stable in the air and it is specified through the methods of the IR-, CR- and NMR11B-spectroscopy. The result indicates the possibility of existence of a number of compounds, containing cluster components of transition metals and borane derivatives
