Description
Excitation function was measured for the reaction 35Cl(α,n)38K by a standard activation technique. Gas cells filled with natural chlorine gas were irradiated with α-particles of energies up to 20 MeV at a compact cyclotron. The calculated thick target yield of 38K (Eα = 7-20 MeV) amounts to 5 mCi/μA at saturation. (orig.)
