The process pp→drho+ in a model of N and N* exchanges
Description
Sharma et al proposed a mechanism of N and N* exchanges in a model of higher baryon couplings with pions. They took a fairly long list of N* exchanges in the GeV region, and not merely the F15, since in the GeV region several N* resonances could make comparable contributions. Subsequently some improvements were incorporated in this model and the refined model was applied to two related processes, viz. pd→dp and pp→dπ+. The model was found to be very successful in reproducing the experimental data both in absolute magnitude as well as in the shape. In this paper the results of this model for the process pp→drho+ are reported. (Auth.)
