A KKRZ calculation on indium

Description
New high precision radio-frequency size effect measure-ments on indium are presented. Four measured caliper dimensions of the Fermi surface have been used in a KKRZ calculation to determine the parameters etasub(l) (l = 0, 1 and 2) which are directly related to the respective partial wave phase shifts deltasub(l). The most significant parameters (eta0 and eta1) differ by 1 and 8% respectively from those obtained from the ab initio calculation reported in the first paper. Using the fitted parameters the full Fermi surface of indium has been calculated, which turns out to be in excellent agreement with the experimental results. (author)
