Numerical solution for natural convection heat transfer in an enclosure filled with two fluids

Description
Natural convection heat transfer in a rectangular enclosure containing two fluids is analysed numerically. Top and bottom sides of the enclosure are insulated, and the left and right sides are kept isothermal. Two combinations of fluids cover a Prandtl number range from 5 to 200. Thermal gradient between the walls is varied covering a range of Rayleigh number from 10 to 10. Nu. Local and average Nusselt numbers are presented for the combinations of fluids and different temperature gradients between the walls. (author)
