On the interaction of intermetallic compounds LaNi4.5T0.5, where T - iron, copper, chromium, aluminium, with nitrogen in hydrogen presence

Description
Interaction of LaNi4.5T0.5 intermetallic compounds (TFe, Cu, Cr, Al) with nitrogen and their hydride phases at the presence of hydrogen in the temperature range of 273-873 K and pressure range of 5x105-107 Pa is studied. Stabilization of β-hydride phases of intermetallic compounds as their hydride-nitride derivatives is shown to take place at 273-293 K in a wide range of pressures. Increase of interaction temperature results in deep change of the composition and structure of the initial compounds, the interaction begins at 603-713 K and practically ceases at 773 K. Heterophase mixtures of lanthanum nitride with nickel, iron and copper are the final products in this case
