Phase diagram and crystallization in CdSe-ZnZe system

Description
Solid solutions of system CdSe-ZnSe are similar to ideal ones both in the melt-crystal range and in subsolidus range. The value ΔHmeltZnSeT constitutes 29 kJ/mol, which is confirmed by the position and shape of two-phase region and zinc distribution in the grown crystals. Below 360 deg C for all the compositions of the system cubic phase with the structure of zinc blende is stable. ΔHα-βT of cadmium selenide is close to 0.5 kJ/mol
