Description
We explore the origin of the disparity between the experiment of the τ leptonic decay lifetime and the value predicted from e-μ-τ universality. We discuss that there are basically only three possibilities, including the new possibility that two SU(2)L triplet scalars interfere destructively with the W-exchange in the τ-decay. (orig.)
