Shoe-sole contamination measuring equipment

Description

The large-area counter is designed as a standing platform. The foot board above the counter consists of webs having got the cross-section of a triangle, the top facing the sole of the shoe. The webs are surrounded by staggered rows of holes. By this means conical bores are formed. The holes are placed together at such narrow distance that the webs get the shape of a ridge and, at the point where three webs meet, are reduced to point-shaped peaks. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Das Grossflaechenzaehlrohr ist als Stehpodest ausgebildet. Trittplatte ueber dem Zaehlrohr besteht aus Stegen, die den Querschnitt eines Dreiecks aufweisen, wobei die Spitze der Schuhsohle zugewendet ist. Die Stege umgeben Loecher, welche reihenweise auf Luecke versetzt sind. Hierdurch entstehen konische Bohrungen. Die Loecher werden eo eng aneinandergereiht, dass die Stege eine dachfirstfoermige Form erhalten und an der Stelle, wo drei Stege zusammentreffen, auf punktfoermige Spitzen reduziert sind. (DG)
