Description
RFP experiments with various shell times have been carried out in the HBTX assembly. Measurements of the edge magnetic fields reveal fluctuations thought to be related to the dynamo process and also magnetic perturbation identified as resistive shell modes. In resistive shell operation, the larger loop voltage and current termination can be associated with the growing resistive shell modes. (author) 7 refs., 4 figs
