Description

Using a complex of methods of physicochemical analysis (X-ray phase, differential-thermal analyses, IR- and Raman spectroscopy) solid phase interaction of Bi2MoO6 and Ln2MoO6, where Ln-lanthanides and Y, has been considered. It is ascertained that the amount, composition and properties of the phases formed are determined by the nature of Ln, accordingly, lanthanide oxymolybdates from La to Lu (except Ce and Pr), including Y, are divided into 4 groups: La, Pr-Nd, Sm-Eu, Gd-Lu, Y. Interaction with LaMoO6 results in the formation of threshold solid solutions. A vast family of ternary phases is detected, peculiarities of their structure are cinsidered, crystallographic characteristics being presented. Scheelite-type compounds Bi3MMo2O12, where M=In,Sc in which coordination number of Mo, In and Sc atoms equals 5, are presented
