Description

This presentation describes modeling and simulation of Small Modular Reactors (SMRs).SMRs present significant simulation challenges because small size invalidates existing low-order models and natural circulation flow requires high-fidelity fluid flow simulation. EXASMR will couple most accurate available methods to perform virtual experiment simulations. It uses Monte Carlo neutronics and CFD with turbulence models.
