Physical and chemical characterization in the production of U3 O8 powders

Description
In the present work the methodology of analysis and characterization of U3O8 powders developed by the Laboratory of Characterisation of the Advanced Fuel Elements Project (CNEA) is described. These methods are used so much in the process control as in the Quality Control of the final product. Likewise, the results obtained during the fabrication of the first fuel loading are discussed.
