Alternative Preisach models

  • 1. Institute of Mathematics and Physics, Maritime University of Szczecin, PL-70-500 Szczecin (Poland)

Description

Currently applied Preisach models enable approximations of hysteresis loops with the use of a variable density of domains and complicated distribution functions. An alternative method presented in this paper uses constant distribution of domains in a new, hyperbolic diagram of hysteresis. Such approach restores the original direct relation between the magnetization and the area enclosed in the diagram by an external field, and enables simpler and more accurate modeling of hysteresis
