Description

ZrNi2In and ZrCu2In crystallise with the cubic MnCu2Al-type structure (space group Fm anti 3m) with the lattice parameters a=6.288(1) A and 6.338(1) A, respectively. At ambient temperatures ZrNi2In is a Pauli paramagnet with a magnetic susceptibility of 2.5 x 10-4 emu/mole, whereas ZrCu2In is diamagnetic with the temperature independent susceptibility of -2.7 x 10-5 emu/mole. Both compounds show a metallic type of the electrical conductivity. (orig.)
