Description
The inelastic neutron scattering studies on a polycrystalline sample of YbVO4 carried out using the High Resolution Medium energy Chopper Spectrometer (HRMECS) at the intense pulsed neutron source of Argonne National Laboratory is reported here. Simultaneously, we have compared the experimental results with potential model calculations of the phonon density of states gives the comparison between measured and calculated density of states in the entire Brillouin zone, our model is in very good agreement with measured spectra
