Description
The nuclear quasi-bound states of the NNanti N system are investigated within a three-body model with simple S-wave separable potentials including annihilation effects. The widths are found to be strongly spin and isospin dependent with the (I,S)=(1/2,1/2) state having the smallest value (Γ=36 MeV). A two-body treatment with an impulse approximation for the anti p-d optical potential is found to overestimate the widths by up to a factor of two and is also too attractive by about 20 MeV. (orig.)
