Mechanism of heat exchange in liquid transition boiling
Description
Physical model of heat exchange in transition boiling of cryogenic fluids under conditions of low reduced pressures p/pcr ≤ 0.01 is suggested. Formula for calculating averaged density of heat flux under transition boiling is derived. Comparison of calculational results with experimental data for water, heptane, hexane, acetone and isopropanol allows one to conclude, that derived formula reflectes correctly enough the effect of pressure on heat exchange intensity in transition boiling
