Extraction recovery of vanadium(V) from sulfuric acid solutions

Description
The IR and electronic absorption spectra of di-2-ethylhexyl hydrogen phosphate (HDEHP) extracts of vanadium(V) and sulfuric acid and of vanadium(V) solutions in sulfuric acid were studied. The composition of the extractable complex was determined, and the equation of vanadium(V) extraction with undiluted HDEHP was suggested. The equilibrium constant of vanadium(V) extraction from concentrated sulfuric acid solutions was found. It is established that vanadium(V) extraction from concentrated sulfuric acid solutions with undiluted HDEHP proceeds by a cation exchange mechanism
Abstract (Russian)
Изучены ИК и электронные спектры экстрактов ванадия(V) и серной кислоты с ди-2-этилгексилфосфорной кислотой (Д2ЭГФК), а также растворов ванадия(V) в серной кислоте. Установлен состав экстрагируемого комплекса, приведено уравнение реакции экстракции ванадия(V) неразбавленной Д2ЭГФК. Определена константа равновесия реакции экстракции ванадия (V) из концентрированных растворов серной кислоты. Показано, что экстракция ванадия(V) неразбавленной Д2ЭГФК из концентрированных растворов серной кислоты проходит по катионообменному механизмуAdditional details
