Kinetic energy absorber with superimposed girders
Description
A description is given of an absorber of the kinetic energy of a mass moving at a rectilinear velocity. It is composed of a cylindrical structure with a generating line parallel to the rectilinear velocity. It is formed of short superimposed girders, each connected by at least one of its ends to the next girder by a recess. The successive recesses are staggered with respect to each other to an extent equal to at least half the length of the girder, along a line perpendicular to the rectilinear velocity

On presente un absorbeur de l'energie cinetique d'une masse animee d'une vitesse rectiligne. Il est constitue par une structure cylindrique dont la generatrice est parallele a la vitesse rectiligne. Il est forme de poutres superposees de courte longueur, chacune d'entre elles etant reliees au moins par l'une de ses extremites a la poutre suivante par un encastrement. Les encastrements successifs sont decales l'un par rapport a l'autre d'une longueur egale au moins a la moitie de la longueur des poutres, suivant une direction perpendiculaire a la vitesse rectiligneFiles
