Theoretical investigation of lateral distribution of muon and electron components in EAS initiated by primary protons and nucleus

Description

The lateral distribution of electrons and muons above 5 GeV in EAS initiated by primary protons and nucleus at level 690 g x cm-2 is calculated on the basis of two fireball models with 'half' and 'quater' multiplicity laws. Correlations between structure functions of the both components are investigated. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Es wurde die Breitenverteilung fuer Elektronen und Myonen oberhalb 5 GeV in Schauern, die durch primaere Protonen und Kerne in einer Hoehe mit 690 g x cm-2 ausgeloest wurden, auf der Basis von zwei Feuerballmodellen mit der Mannigfaltigkeit 'einhalb' und 'einviertel' berechnet. Die Korrelation zwischen den Strukturfunktionen beider Komponenten wurde untersucht. (orig.)
