Pressure waves at the main steam system of Angra 2 nuclear power plant due to turbine trip
Description
When occur a Turbine Trip, at the Main Steam System, the quick closing of Turbine valves induce loads on the piping, mainly caused by the pressure wave that propagates through the piping. The ROLAST code, that simulates the system fluid dynamic behavior, was used to calculate the loadings. (author)
