Alloy structure and phase equilibrium diagram of the Hf-Mo-C system. Crystallization scheme of the alloys of partial Mo-HFC-Hf system

Description
The projection of the surface of a liquidus on the Mo-HfC-Hf concentration triangle was constructed. The crystallization diagram for alloys of that system is examined. It was shown that when the content of hafnium is increased, four-phase equilibria occur in the Mo-HfC-Hf system: (1) L+delta+β1reversible lambda3 (2,1000C); (2) L+lambda3reversible delta+β2 (1,8500C); (3) L reversible delta+β2=α(1,7600C).
