222Rn Source Terms Derived from Terrestrial Gamma Dose Rates

Creators

  • 1. Institute of Environmental Geosciences, University of Basel (Switzerland)

Description

The 222Rn source terms for Europe, Russian Federation and the USA were derived from existing information on terrestrial gamma dose rates and an empirical function relating it to 222Rn flux density. The procedure, its application and scope for future work are described. (author)
